I had to read this one, because I grew up in West Hills and have walked in the woods at sunset and before the sun has risen, and have spent a lot of time at Jayne's Hill and on Sweet Hollow road and Mt Misery (Plus Chichester!) It is interesting that I never heard of the asylum myth, but we all knew, growing up, that the Peace & Plenty Inn on Chichester was haunted!! Thanks and great work!
